| HOW DOES ARTE MUNDIT® WORK?

The product Arte Mundit® is based on a specially formulated latex dispersion which, during the evaporation of the water which is present as less than 1% of the product, polymerizes into an elastic film which adheres to the surface. Active chemicals are bound into the latex which can then be peeled off, often without the need for water.

  | DIFFERENT TYPES OF ARTE MUNDIT®

As a developer and producer of Arte Mundit®, FTB-Remmers can adapt its formulations to the specific needs, and can develop a tailor made solution for each project. An example of this approach is St. Paul's Cathedral - London. The different standard types are: Arte Mundit® type I, II, III, V, 100 and 200. The type of Arte Mundit® that is used depends on the condition of the surface and the type of pollution present.

  | HOW TO APPLY ARTE MUNDIT®?

Arte Mundit® can be applied by hand or by machine.
FTB-Remmers developed a method for applying by spraying on the material using compressed air with a specially designed pump and nozzle.

After 24 hours the Arte Mundit® is peeled off the wall. It is stored in bags in accordance to sensible environmental policy. The latex can be recycled by FTB-Remmers. Recent developments resulted in odourless versions of Arte Mundit®.
